Leveraging their experience as professional interviewers and hiring coaches, our co-founders Jordan Burton and Matt Walsh created Talgo in 2020, to help individuals and companies attract, assess, and secure top performing candidates.Ā

Jordan has 19 years of experience as an executive assessor and interviewing trainer, working with top VC/PE investors and high-growth startups to help them hire the best of the best. He has trained over 5,000 executives and investors on hiring and interviewing skills. He leads Talgo's business development initiatives,managing relationships with TPG, Sequoia Capital, TH Lee, GV, Scale AI, Clay, Anduril and over 100 other VC/PE investors and high growth organizations.Ā He was formerly a Partner at leadership advisory firm ghSMART, a consultant at Bain & Company, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Matt is an executive assessor and interviewing strategist who has spent over a decade building and deploying structured hiring systems in high-stakes environments. At Palantir Technologies, he led enterprise deployments across four countries and also served as Head of Hiring for the London Deployment Strategist queue, one of tech's most selective roles, conducting 500+ interviews and leading interviewer training. He now works directly with PE/VC firms and high-growth companies to replace gut-feel hiring with a repeatable system that dramatically reduces bad hires. Matt is a former corporate litigator at Gibson Dunn and holds a JD from Harvard Law School.
